“Behold our God” is een lied geschreven op de tekst van Jesaja 40: “Wie heeft de wateren met holle hand omvat? Wie heeft het stof van de aarde met een maatlepel afgepast”…  Met wie is God te vergelijken? 

Het tweede gedeelte gaat over het Nieuwe Testament:  Wie heeft de spijkers door zijn handen gevoeld? Wie heeft alle zonden op zich genomen? Eeuwig God, vernederd in het graf. Jezus Redder is opgestaan om te regeren.

Zie onze God, gezeten op de troon. Komt laten wij Hem aanbidden!
